Meet Master Risko

With nearly four decades of training and dedication to the extraordinary ITF Taekwon-Do tradition of the Pottstown area, Master Risko shares her knowledge and love of the art with her students as well as scouting organizations, women’s groups, and others across the region. She supports the regional United Taekwon-Do Federation (UTF) by conducting and assisting in seminars, camps, and other events, while serving as the organization’s Technical Advisor.

Renowned by students and peers alike for her technical acumen of the art’s inner workings, since establishing Legacy Taekwon-Do School in 2005 Master Risko has honed a unique ability to calibrate her teaching to challenge and motivate students of all backgrounds, from beginner to advanced, kids and adults alike.

As a practitioner, Master Risko is no stranger to competition at the highest levels. Highlights include her roles as coach of the bronze-medalist USA Men’s Team at the 2007 ITF World Championships, as well as her individual bronze medal at the 1990 ITF World Championship.

Master Risko is widely recognized for her tireless contributions to the martial arts community locally and beyond, and yet remains a student of the art, attending seminars, tournaments, and instructor and umpire training, all in pursuit of continuous improvement to her practice and teaching of TaeKwon-Do.
